I think I should mention that Stewie is my Dad’s cat. He is usually referenced in his letters, which may get a little confusing without explanation.

.. if you are leaving town.
Work has been slow – so I’ve been getting out of town whenever possible to make some new personal work.

Buy a boob polaroid for $20. Each one is unique and 100% of the proceeds will go to my sister’s non-profit organization, Rocking the Road to A Cure, which provides resources for women with breast cancer.
If you are interested, send me an email for arrangements to come see all the boobs.
P.S. If you would like to pass on the boob, and just make a donation to Rocking the Road for A Cure, please email me as well.

Here is the beginning of a new section featuring letters from my dad. I typically get a post it note attached to something about once a month. This is the most recent. Please click on the image above to see the contents.
I’m going to see if I can find the one from last month which was full of Obama spirit. Also, though he signs most “Love Mom & Dad”, Mom doesn’t have much to do with it.
Please note: Dad’s return address sticker

Please join my studio for a holiday cheers. There will be discounted clothes by my studio mates, Bodkin, Samantha Pleet, Covet and beautiful jewelry from Dirty Librarian Chains. I’ll be offering up photos of boobs (a percentage of the profit will be donated to breast cancer non-profit run by my sister), some Holster zines, copies of the new SWALLOW MAGAZINE, and maybe some proof prints.

Gary and I did a letter “W” for Spelling Change, a project supporting Barack Obama’s campaign. Check out the site for more information. We’ll keep you posted on some upcoming events for this project.

Check out this awesome Wheat Thin® that popped out of a box I’ve been enjoying since yesterday (classic “square-shaped” Wheat Thin® on the left). I will save this little guy for anyone interested in eating (or keeping) it. Just email me (gary [at] theholster.com) your address and why you’d like to eat/have this Wheat Thin® and it’s yours. If you live in New York, I can deliver it in person. First person to email wins.

The Holster is a publishing project that Phil, Sonny and I have been working on here and there for the past few years. We recently put up some new zines, and are currently working on a whole new site that will feature zines, books, other print projects and some experiments. Not all of those projects will be for sale, but they will be viewable in their entirety, which is something we’re excited about. The market of publishing was never something that interested us as much as the sharing of experiences through the intimacy of books.
Anyways, just a little self promotional plug. Stop by, and if you’re interested in any of the zines just let me know. Also, Luke and David’s zines are in the new issue of The Journal which is cool. Thanks to those folks for that.

Over the past few months (as many of you already know, and as Jacqueline previously posted) we’ve been asking our friends to draw Garfield from memory. This is an ongoing project. Here are the first twenty-six. Thanks to everyone that participated.

A few months ago I was asked to submit to a new zine put together by Errol Richardson and the folks over at Something Secret. I sent them part of a new project I’ve been (slowly) working on ever since my camera broke. I got my copy in the mail today and the whole zine came out really great. Thanks guys.

Gary and I have teamed up to get as many people as we can to draw Garfield solely from memory. Our collection has grown enough that it is ready to be seen.
